CoRoM's first Summer Forum took place on Friday, June 8th, 2018, at the Pavillon Adrien-Pouliot of Université Laval and at Robotiq.
The first edition of the Summer Forum brought together more than 50 participants to discuss the lastest discoveries in the field of collaborative robotics and meet industrial and academic actors from the CoRoM network. The Forum aimed to favorize discussions and networking, as well as the development of new partnerships. The morning session focused on presentations from our industrial partners while students presented their work in the afternoon in a rapid-fire session followed by an interactive session. The Robotics Lab from Université Laval, our host for the day, also offered a visit of some of their labs, including technolgoy demonstrations of a variety of robots. The day ended with a visit of Robotiq's new space and a 5@7 that allowed the CoRoM community to meet in a more informal setting. Stay tuned for information regarding the 2019 edition!
