Development of a weight lifting device with multiple degrees of freedom

DESCRIPTION

Development of a weight lifting device with multiple degrees of freedom to bring the best force vector to a patient, either for patient transfer or for patient rehabilitation. The user is directly in contact with the robot. This device should be able to lift up to 600 lbs by hands as if it was weightless or lift less weight but with higher speed, which can be applied to the industrial sector to lift a heavy weight in a factory by using the help of the robot to carry the weight.
