Get a CoRoM scholarship for your graduate studies in robotics!
The CoRoM scholarship program aims to promote the recruitment and participation of students interessed in collaborative robotics. It is not necessary to hold a scholarship to participate in the CoRoM training program.

Undergrad internship scholarship
This scholarship has a 6000$ value and is used to cover part of an intern's salary. This undergrad internship must take place in a research laboratory in one of the three universities.
Eligibility
- Be in the last year of a baccalaureate program in a relevant field.
- Obtain a research internship (12 to 15 weeks, full-time) in collaborative robotics in one of the partner universities.
- Work on a CoRoM project that implies an industrial partner and a professor.
- Students are only eligible to one internship scholarship.

CoRoM master's scholarship
This scholarship is for master's students who are fully engaged in CoRoM and its value depends on the student's external financing. This scholaship comes in supplement to the 10 000$ to 15 000$ stipend or salary the student will receive for her or his internship. Scholarship's instalment(s) can be spread out on the duration of the program (maximum two years) to accomodate each student's situation. The student that accepts a CoRoM scholarship agrees to CoRoM's scholarship conditions (below).

Eligibility
- Register or be registered in a PhD program in one of the partner universities.
- Work on a CoRoM industrial research project under the supervision of a professor who is a CoRoM member.
- Ne pas être récipiendaire d’une bourse d’études supérieures du Canada Vanier ou d’une bourse d’études supérieures du Canada Alexander-Graham-Bell.
- Students who have received a CoRoM master's scholarship are eligible for a CoRoM PhD scholarship.

Conditions for CoRoM scholarship holders:
CoRoM master's or PhD scholarship holders must:
- Quickly declare (< one month) all financing, scholarship, or stipend to the program coordinator and their CoRoM university representative, including scholarships from provincial and granting agencies.
- Quickly declare all change in their situation (financing, program, status, supervisor, university, etc.) to the program coordinator.
- Progress in their CoRoM program, i.e. pursuing required activities. Scholarship instalments could be suspended if a student progression is judged insufficient by the Managing committee, supervisor or university representative. The program coordinator will conduct trimestrial follow-ups in collaboration with students and supervisors.
- Complete their CoRoM training program in the prescribed time (five semesters for a master's, three years for a PhD).
- Complete one or more industrial intership(s) (minimum 20% of the student's participation in CoRoM).
- Avoid taking up commitments that could lengthen her or his program, including lecturer positions. The student could accept a teaching assistant position with the approval of her or his supervisor, as long as the program duration remains unaffected.
- If applicable, verify conditions for internships or for concurrently holding multiple scholarships with her or his institution liaison officer. For example, FRQNT or NSERC scholarships might have to be suspended for the duration of an internship. Also, FRQNT scholarship holders are responsible of declaring all supplementary revenu in their online file (e.g. CoRoM scholarship, Mitacs internship, etc.).
Not respecting these conditions might lead to the scholarship being suspended.
