Project: Omnidirectional AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) robot control on an automated production line

AGVs are becoming more prevalent in industry. These are versatile platforms for moving equipment between storage spaces and work spaces. The omnidirectional models are even more versatile because their great agility allows them to move easily in the cramped spaces typical of industrial environments. Intelligent control of their movements is necessary to reduce travel times and allow workers to move safely alongside robotic vehicles.
